Large room and bathroom with s/s and functional windows for fresh air! The large bed was super comfortable and the place was very easy to navigate. We arrived right on 8pm and the lovely staff at the bistro were able to check us in and explain T&Cs, wifi, and where the reception is.

The room was surprisingly very huge, the bed was super comfortable!!! Our room had a kitchen and came with kitchenwares and utensils!!! It also had a sofa bed and a big enough dining table. The bathroom was huge as well! Our rent came with a parking spot right below our unit which was very convenient!!! The view was amazing! They have coffee shops close to the property and the pier and the beach are just steps away!!! Sunrise is gorgeous!!!

It was a very easy 8 minute walk into Lorne from our apartment and we could walk along the boardwalk or take the street paths.
The beaches were lovely and gorgeous views from our balcony. The apartment was furnished and decorated beautifully.
I could not fault anything and will be back again.

Our hostess Sally, has put together a very cosy, comfortable, romantic Parisian room together with great taste. Very large and comfortable bed, all the amenities you could possibly need. Great support if in need, prompt, friendly, professional and persistent. Great location, made getting around Lorne and beach very easy.
Carpark guaranteed.

Lorne is a lovely place to stay, The beach is clean and good for swimming, and lovely to walk along in the evening. There are plenty of shops to look at, and a good variety of cafes, casual dining and restaurants to choose from. You can access all of Lorne without needing the car. There is a range of stunning walks that can be reached either by foot or by car, with a choice of difficulty ranging from stroller friendly to strenuous.

This was our first visit to Lorne and we were impressed from the moment we drove into town. It is bigger and more modern than we pictured, but not over-developed and certainly not crowded. The town is reminiscent of south-east Queensland, without the heat and humidity. The beach is perfect for young families: a gentle gradient and waves for all ages. There were too many eateries for our three-day stay – one of the main reasons we'll return. Ipsos Restaurant is extremely popular all day long, however, we walked in without a reservation. Captain Hooked fish and chips is well worth a repeat. The locally made Gelato is smooth and packed with flavour. Erskine Falls and Sheoak Falls provide opportunity for manageable bursts of exercise away from the beach, with a nice reward at the end, contrasting abundant tree ferns of the temperate rainforest with sea-side bracken. Short drives to Aireys Inlet and Anglesea afford further opportunities to experience the Great Ocean Road and expand the tourist options on offer with lighthouse tours, canoeing and surf lessons.

Very pricey. Mostly friendly people.
Very pricey. Mostly friendly people. Had a miserable start to our stay our accommodation was horrible. We arrived and there was no one at reception. There was a sign up saying to ring a number which we did and it wouldn’t connect. Tried the door and it opened. There was a man inside who wasn’t much help. It was just horrible. Very unsettling. Very poor place to stay. 😞
Very well positioned in the Lorne forefront, with the bonus of a private parking lot - these are the only accolades for the place and the Hotel takes advantage of this. That said, the room was pristinely clean and the beds comfortable - however, there was nothing else in particular for this hotel room(s) to be remembered for. In such a good location in Lorne, and for the price paid, one expected a bit more than a room that felt like a well cared for, but very average Australian road-side motel room.
Very happy with our stay at Cumberland, the room was spacious and well laid out, it was clean, the bed was comfy, staff were friendly, had underground parking. The ocean view was stunning. It was also close to everything in Lorne. We only stayed a night as we were passing through, would've been more than happy to stay at Cumberland for a few nights. If we ever stay in Lorne again, we will be looking to see if Cumberland has rooms available.
Location is walking distance to main Street in Lorne and beach. Fabulously decorated apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely finishing touches with toiletries and condiments provided. We stayed in seniorita suite and it was perfect as it was last apartment on the block making it feel very private and safe. Plenty of parking spaces available. Great communication with owners via what’s app
So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature! we saw kangaroos, cockatoos & vast variety of birds! we caught some yabbies, Everything we needed was provided in the cottage and the location was fabulous as it was only a short ride from Lorne town. Couldn't ask for a better holiday to get away with the family and be emersed in nature!
The location of the caravan park is fantastic.
Right next to the beach for a spot of fishing or a swim or relax at the beach.
Grocery store across the road from the caravan park.
Walking distance to the main strip of Lorne.
Reception desk, playground for kids looked great.
Main cabins next to Main reception looked really nice.
Perfect for a family of four. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy and only a short walk to the centre of Lorne and the beach. We appreciated the variety of games and dvds available and the host was prompt in addressing our concern re: internet outage and was accommodating of our request for a slightly earlier check in time.
The location was in a quiet street, with a beautiful view of the Ocean from the lighthouse at Airey's Inlet around to the Lorne pier. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, well furnished, had a good supply of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen, and very comfortable.
Very disappointed. Very expensive and images presented on website do not reflect the state of the room. Carpets very grubby, sofas and chairs marked. We have stayed at Mantra in Kingscliff and it was a totally different experience. Rooms require updating and cleaning.
The five star venue was of the highest quality. The hosts were generous, communicative and available. The home was very modern, well supplied, and with beautiful views. An open fire was much appreciated, and added to the joy with space to stretch out and and relax.
Hotel room very nice! Right opposite lorne beach. Beautiful food at the bistro. Bistro was one of the most happening and lit place in Lorne. Very comfortable stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Bath products included everything, even a dental kit.
The whole house to ourselves, great undercover car parking .
The elevation and outlook
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with electric blankets
Not too far from town
Dog friendly, which was the an important reason for choosing
We enjoyed our one week stay everything such as Cafes, shops and beach all within walking distance near Mantra Lorne and the hotel itself has a bar, restaurant or dine within your room.
